sole desire of Guru Ravindra Nath Tagore.
And with this objective in mind, the
Modern Secular Public School , Malerkotla
has been established in the lap of the nature,
away from the din of the city, on the same
pattern as Guruji had founded the
Shanti Niketan in Calcutta
. As soon as the sun wakes up and smiles, its
rays embrace and glitter the building of the
college. It indicates that the inhabitants,
naturally the students of the college, shall
ever shine in life like the sun. With such high
ambitions into consideration, the management of
the college founded this college in the green
and widely spread land on the Malerkotla –
Khanna road at Malerkotla, Distt. Sangrur (
Punjab ).
GOVERNING BODY
Modern Secular Public School, Malerkotla
is governed by the management committee of
‘Teesra Netar Educational & Social Society,
Ranwan (Malerkotla), Distt. Sangrur (Pb.)’.
The society is a registered body registered
under Society Registration Act (XXI) of 1860.
The society has members consisting of
educationalists and eminent personalities as
Chairman, Director of the Society. The society
is non-profit making body and is fed by guidance
of Punjab ’s famous ‘Modern Secular
Educational Society, Dhuri’ well known for
the services in the field of educational.
The society is serving the people by running
unique institution like Modern Secular Public
School , Malerkotla having same aims and
objectives.
LOCATION
The college is located 2 KM away from Malerkotla
at Malerkotla – Khanna Road at Village Ranwan,
P.O. Khanpur, Tehsil Malerkotla, Distt. Sangrur
( Punjab ). It owns an area of land measuring 5
acres. Its location affords the solitude of
nature, far from the pressure and noise of the
city. The vast and open surrounding provide a
perfect peaceful and pleasant atmosphere for the
development of the youngsters. The college owns
a grand and modern building. Class rooms are
constructed to ensure cross ventilation and
light with generator facilities.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
The educational system in India
is passing through very pitiable conditions. It
is high time to reform and improve the system.
It is, therefore, desired that the training
aspect of the educational system be improved
i.e. the system should produce good teachers
only as good teachers can improve the system.
Keeping in view the same, the school has the
following aims and objectives –
a) To improve the pedagogical of
the existing system of training.
b) To produce ideal teachers.
c) To acquaint the teachers with
modern methodologies of teaching.
d) To acquire the knowledge of
technology.
e) To acquaint the trainees with
models of teaching.
f) To fill the sense of

awareness among students about health education,
population education and environmental
